Butrint is considered as one of the most important archaeological sites in Albania. On the strength of the immense wealth of cultural, historical and natural value with a considerable history, it was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1992 and a National Park in 2000. Visit one of the most stunning castles in Albania, Ali Pasha’s Castle, and learn about its history and legends. This fortress of Ali Pasha offers a gorgeous view over the sea and the island of Corfu. After the visit of Ali Pasha’s castle, we head for the mussels farms. You will be informed about “Our Queen” the mussel of Butrint lagoon, how they grow and how they are farmed. The tour will last for 3.5 – 4 hours. At the end of the tour, you will stop for lunch at Restaurant Livia.
